What We Believe

Jesus Christ is Lord! His life, His ministry, His teaching, His miracles, His resurrection, historical evidence . . . they all lead to one conclusion: Jesus is not only to receive our worship, but our lives!

"Concerning God's Son, who was descended from David according to the flesh, and was declared to be the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord." ~ Romans 1:3-4

The Bible is the Word of God The Scriptures are God breathed, and reveal the heart and will of God. The Bible is understandable, turning the light on for those who want to know what God says. It is a lifelong and life giving study, this study of God's Word.

" All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work." ~ 2 Timothy 3:16-17

We are not the only Christians (We just want to be Christians only.) God has many faithful congregations, and we want to work alongside any of those who also love Jesus. We're just trying to be one of the many faithful churches in Clinton County.

" For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body-Jews or Greeks, slaves or free-and all were made to drink of one Spirit. For the body does not consist of one member but of many." ~ 1 Corinthians 12:12-14
People who don't know the Lord are important to Him and matter to us. Everyone has the right to hear the good news of Jesus from someone who loves them. Regardless of your walk in life or how far away from God you find yourself, we want to introduce you to our Friend and Lord, Jesus Christ.

"You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." ~ Romans 5:6-8
